The south of malta comprises towns such as Fgura, Paola, and Zabbar. It is also home to the three cities which are Birgu, Senglea, Vittoriosa and fishing villages Marsaxlokk, Marsascala and Birzebugga where our cardo freeport is located. The crime rate in the south is a bit higher and the Maltese are spoken mainly. We can find all shops, public transport schools supermarkets in the south.
At present, the government of Malta is finalising Malta’s main highways linking the centre of Malta to the south. This has had the desired effect with investment in the south of Malta at record highs especially such as Smart city a Dubai owned IT city home to many internet based international companies, luxury residences and gyms restaurants and bars. The three cities are a postcard with million-dollar boats berthed at our natural marinas which are a backdrop to fortifications and old churches enriched in history. The quaint narrow cobbled streets, lively street atmosphere, and the sea make for a desirable location.
